the sleepy lion
Well March was in like a [sleepy] lion and perhaps out like a lamb. We are not complaining but it has been damp and cold but now the dear old sun is out – accompanied for the moment by a chilly wind but lovely nonetheless. And so we have been rushing about the garden sweeping tidying planting out the strawberry beds etc. However lots going on in the studios particularly in the pottery and the Gallery is looking full once more.
Jenny has found the time to make a lovely 'gaggle' of guinea fowl and Elizabeth has been filling the shelves and creating a new little product – as shown! These products are also to be found in the relevant sections of our website along with the set of mixing bowls [Rukweza and Azul] and and the honey pots [Azul] which have been added recently.
The season at the Molino del Santo in Benoajan www.molinodelsanto.com has started off wonderfully with a lovely exhibition 'Light of Andalucia' and as well as having a generous space to display our products we also have some glass pieces in the exhibition. Details of this lovely hotel and the exhibition can be found on their website.
It will be 'all go' on every front [garden/studios] for the next few weeks but more of that next time.
